Ingredients

1 pound beef tenderloin or sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

For the Mashed Potatoes:
- 3 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
